The Pack has many (lower- or more challenging) uses, of course, especially as stimuli (cues) in lessons practicing verb-phrasing in contrasting tense and usage patterns—and in engaging and educationally productive vocabulary play.
What You’ll Do:
[1]From the Advanced Verb-Forms Cards file, print out all 36 pages back-to-back, flipped horizontally. (You might also print out pages single- sided: then the 324 card faces—three verb parts, each with a definition, an illustration, or contexts] can be arranged into 54 sets-of-six for use in other educational activities.) Cut apart the 162 double-sided (or 324 single-sided) cards so that they’re all the same size and shape.
[2] The 56-page Download D-13.13, Advanced (Regular & Irregular) Verb-Part Triads Activity & Idea Book offers pedagogy that works in teaching/learning how to grasp meanings of Verb-Parts—and how to use these in multi-tense contexts that illustrate those definitions. The Book also contains steps for card use in lessons and competitive/cooperative game play. Even so, the format of this straightforward 108-Card Deck may make its use self-explanatory. And energized teachers/learners are likely to come up with even more effective and creative ways to use Verb Cards oranalogous materials—and/or to acquire Verb Parts in Contexts in even better ways.
