How They Might Help: As competitors progress in their familiarity with the English alphabet and their strategic letter-calling skills, they’ll want the challenge of a larger number of images to recognize and name within the same game.
What You’ll Do:
As needed, review, practice, and update recognition and pronunciation of the names of the 13 or 26 letters included on eachAlphabet- Letter Paired GridBoard.
Follow classic “Battleship” proceduresand rules to play suggested and/or other pencil & paper games ofstrategy.
For spelling and writing practice, follow the same steps using vocabulary words instead of markers ormarkings.
