Who It’s For: (Teachers & Helpers of) High Beginners
Why It’s Useful: It covers competencies needed in finding a place to live: describing housing needs or problems, answering ads, telling locations of things, etc. Learners will be able to master be-sentences with it and there.
What You’ll Do:
[1] Get commonly useful sentence grammar and vocabulary in strip stories and explanations. Practice them in exercises.
[2] Use appropriate structures to respond to simulated realia: floor plans, housing ads, etc.
[3] Communicate about your own, real housing situations, needs, or problems.
